Pampered Chef party

I recently broke 2 of my stoneware pieces. Wretched tile floor! I was so sad!! Then I remembered that Pampered Chef has a sale on Stoneware in September. Woo hoo!
I hosted a party , and now I'm gathering orders.

I want everyone to have the opportunity to take advantage of the 20% discount on selected stoneware.

I LOVE my stoneware. I used my bakers all the time, and I still use the bar pan to roast chicken and bake brownies.

So, if you are interested in purchasing some items you can do so from the comfort of your computer.

Here's how
1) Go to
2) Click on Our Products to view the on-line catalog
3) Find something you'd like to purchase, click on How to Purchase
4) Enter Michelle Walkenhorst
5) Click on my name
6) Continue your shopping
7) When you submit your order, be sure to select Direct Shipping if you live out of town.

I'll be closing the show on Tuesday morning, September 22nd.

Happy Shopping!

Silly Boys

On Monday, when Coby got off the bus he announced that he had a good day:
*Cheyenne is my wife. We were married . . . At school . . . At the playground!
*I was floating in the sky. Not going down. I didn't go down until I pushed my parachute.
*I was flying with MY Super Girls, so the Mean Boys wouldn't get us.

Labor Day

Playing Rock Band with Jerome
Some good ol' nose pickin'

Jake spent the day smoking some baby back ribs for dinner. Then he braised them in a yummy tangy BBQ sauce. Sitting down to dinner, I tried to give Liam a number of things to eat, but he would NOT have any of them. He wanted RIBS! So here he is chowing down to the bone.

And so marks the end of summer for us. So delightful!

Silly Boys

The boys love Eggplant Parmesan! We were supposed to have it for dinner but didn't. In their great disappointment they asked why. Jake responded "The eggplant is bitter, just like my soul"
Hmmm. I wonder where the boys get their dramatics from? ;)

This week Coby has been particularly silly:
Kai was assigned to give a talk today. The Primary leaders asked for a volunteer to say the opening prayer. Kai raised his hand, along with some other kids. He was chosen, they announced it and Coby said "No, he's giving a talk!" He is currently in the "I need to correct everyone" phase. My mom must be enjoying the sweet revenge!

Getting off the bus-
C: Mommy, there are two Cheyenne's in my class.
M: Really, two? That's a pretty uncommon name.
C: Well, one is with a C and the other is with an S.

C: Mommy, Cheyenne is my girl friend.
M: Which one?
C: The one with the C.

While watching the Cougars game -
C: Daddy, those cheerleaders are really pretty!
J: As pretty as Mommy?
C: Mmmm, no. The cheerleaders are prettier.
